SJM Resorts proudly celebrates the "Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2025" with the global premiere of "Picasso: Beauty and Drama".

Spanish artist Pablo Picasso is one of the most influential and recognisable artists of the 20th century. This exhibition follows the evolution of his epoch-making art through figures and images that showcase his perspective, tracing his artistic language and style across different periods. An intimate account of his dramatic life unfolds, reflecting his journey from prodigy to icon through the prism of his place in the art scene, aligned with the theme of the Biennale: 'Hey, what brings you here?'

The exhibition features over 140 original masterpieces by Picasso in seven zones, including paintings, prints, ceramics, manuscripts, illustrations, and more from the Museo Casa Natal Picasso. Come discover and celebrate Picasso's innovative and often experimental approach to art, as well as his deep affection for his birthplace, Málaga, which shaped his unique and enduring vision and enduring impression in modern art.

"Picasso: Beauty and Drama" exemplifies SJM's ongoing commitment to enriching Macau's tourism experience through cultural offerings, and advancing the city's integration of arts and travel in alignment with the Macao SAR Government's "culture + tourism" development strategy.
